This Costa Rican Life: Episode 3

For reference, this sloth is the size of an American football.

Gorgeous photos! You girls both look so healthy and fit! PS – I might be jealous of that scenery and food but I can’t say I am jealous of being so close to that snake! eek.

is that sloth not smiling the happiest smile ever…? also, i am ridiculously jealous of your life in costa rica, for really, mainly, the food. i definitely just saved your paragraph explaining your lunchtime salad as my grocery list for next week. ;-)

I have to tell you that I have been reading your blog for a few months now, and this is actually my first time commenting I believe (coming out of my shell ;)) You are both gorgeous, and it looks like you’re having a life-changing trip.

Those spider pictures, though, while pretty…kinda scare the bejesus out of me! lol. Just picturing myself there…I’d have been freaking out ;)

get the hell back into the house and lock the doors and windows, and then wrap the house in a massive net.

You girls look so beautiful, and like you are having the time of your lives their in Costa Rica.
I am jealous of how pretty you look even after hiking through the jungle. My husband and I are in Thailand (extreme humidity) and I am disgusted by every picture taken after the slightest bit of activity…red face, sweaty sheen and frizzy hair…argh

    Whats your secret?

Do be careful of that gorgeous yellow snake. It looks very viper-y, kill you dead-ish. Gorgeous, deadly snakes aside, it looks like paradise!

What lovely ladies! You look like you’re having the time of your lives. I’m quite envious!

I love all the wildlife photos! Even the creepy crawlies ;-) And I’m really surprised at how small that sloth is. Without your reference I was thinking more like chimp size…

Looking forward to your next update :-)

:Not like other ancient curlutes, foods was normally plentiful in ancient Egypt. The Egyptians relied on the yearly flooding of the Nile to produce fertile lands that yielded crops that fed the masses. Scenes of animal husbandry and butchery, were a fixture on the walls of Egyptian tombs. No much less unusual, are scenes of fishing and fishermen along with images and hieroglyphs about the preparation of fish for eating, and pictures of birds and foul staying plucked and preserved.
