Promoting this diet (via promoting this article) is both irresponsible and sad. I’m sorry, Andie, that , with your history, knowledge and experience, you have come to a place where support of unhealthy, scientifically unsupported and downright faddish diets are part of your message. Of course this woman has lost weight. Anyone on such a regimen of severe restriction will lose weight. But, chances are strong to guaranteed that she will re-gain the weight with a concurrent downward spiral in both her physical and psychological well being.
The greater concerns of health and long term behaviour change are absent and these are a couple of the messages that I remember from your long ago journey.
