My Favorite Pregnancy Snack

FAGE Total 2% Split Cups

Before pregnancy, I was never a big snacker. I always did most of my eating at meal times. When I found out I was having a baby, I figured my eating habits wouldn’t change much. I wanted to be sure to get enough food and all of the necessary nutrients, but I figured I would just eat slightly bigger meals. And then a few weeks into pregnancy, I’d find myself ravenous, sometimes as soon as an hour after having a meal. If I went over two hours without eating, I’d begin to feel sick and Daniel’s head would start to look like a big juicy melon.

Snacks and small meals quickly became hugely important and I wanted something tasty, nutritious, and convenient. Greek yogurt became a staple, and these FAGE Total Split Cups are exactly what I needed.

FAGE Total 2% Split Cups

FAGE Total 2% Split Cups come in a dozen varieties—mixed berries, pineapple, blackberry, blood orange…just to name a few. They have the perfect ratio of protein-rich, creamy, tart yogurt and fruit topping for a touch of sweetness. Each serving has around 130 calories with 12 grams of protein and 11 grams of sugar, and they are super convenient and versatile.

They’re easy snacks for me to take on the go, or grab from the fridge while Daniel takes forever to come back from the grocery store with dinner ingredients. I use them as an anytime snack and also a guilt-free dessert if I’m craving something sweet and creamy. Pineapple is my current favorite, but blood orange is a close second. If you’re looking for a delicious and convenient snack or grab and go breakfast, consider giving these FAGE Total Split Cups a try.

So pleased to hear you are having a baby…..not sure how I have missed that….you do continue to inspire me with motivation, still hanging onto my weight loss with my finger tips and it seems to be a constant battle to remain on ahealthy diet and maintain my weight loss….so easy to get sucked into quick fixes!!! Anyway sincere congratulations to you both, parenthood really is one of the most precious, most hard work, most joyous things to be blessed with….good luck to you both.

I couldn’t get enough broccoli when I was pregnant. I thought my baby would turn out green like Kermit but she was normal. She Loves broccoli even at 42 today. May you have a rich, full, wonderful life together. My husband and I are celebrating our 50th this year.

I’m not much of a snacker either but yogurt is always a favorite, especially Greek yogurt. There is something about it that is simply satisfying and it ends up feeling like a luxury.
