It’s day 2 of Smoothie Week! Let me tell you one way to beat the winter blues—make a smoothie bowl that tastes like a tropical vacation. This orange mango turmeric smoothie bowl fits the bill. With fresh-squeezed orange juice, mango, banana, avocado, and almond milk, it’ll give you major island in the sun vibes.
But this isn’t your traditional sweet tropical drink. It’s sweet, sure, but it’s also rich with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and the hottest ingredient around—turmeric (said to be antioxidant rich and anti-inflammatory). These warming spices make the smoothie bowl that much more satisfying. The creamy factor here comes from banana and avocado, which doesn’t impart any flavor, only silky-smooth texture and a dose of healthy fat.
I like to add extra sweetness and some fun texture by topping my smoothie bowl with sliced strawberries, chopped mango, chia seeds, and coconut flakes, which really bump up that tropical feel.
Tip: Consider using frozen mango and sliced, frozen banana, but note that when using frozen fruit, you should add a little more liquid (unsweetened almond milk or fresh orange juice) to achieve the right texture.
This orange mango turmeric smoothie bowl is healthy, loaded with antioxidants, and flavor-packed—and it will leave you full of energy. Enjoy!
