Saturday’s here and it feels so good, doesn’t it? Daniel and I are in Massachusetts for the weekend to celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday. We walked in the door of my parents’ house last night and I knew I was in the right place when I saw a half-eaten White’s Cake on the kitchen table–and not the birthday party cake, mind you–just your average roses-topped, mid-week cake.
