Weekly Coffee Date

Weekly Coffee Date! (photo by Auris)

Happy Saturday, friends!

This week Daniel and I sent in the deposit for our wedding venue and I feel so happy about the place we chose. It’s quaint; it’s beautiful; it has so much charm. I’m also relieved that at least one major decision is done. Now, I’m working on some bridesmaid gifts—the kind you send to each of them to ask, “Will you be my bridesmaid?”  Is it crazy to have seven bridesmaids?

What’s new with you? Are you watching the Super Bowl this weekend? Are you into it for the snacks, like me?

Here are the links that caught my eye this week:

Here’s a guide if you want to brush up on your football knowledge so you can say something at a super bowl party this weekend other than “the commercials are my favorite part.” :)

I do not care for Tom Brady, QB for the Patriots, but am rooting for them because longtime friend Mosi Tatupu, RIP, played for them his entire career. One of my best friends was married to him, and their son Lofa is a coach for my beloved Seattle Seahawks.

I love the Patriots and was happy seeing them win. Hooray for Tom Brady.

I clicked on the link for the calories in Fast Food but it took me to an article on Who’s Trying to Buy An Oscar.

Thanks for all the links Andie. I enjoy checking them out. Here’s one I found on How to Prevent Overeating. I liked the note on salad and soup so thought I’d return the favor and share something with you that you may not have seen.

It’s so exciting to hear how your wedding planning is progressing. I’m in the thick of it myself with only 2 months left! If you’re looking for an idea for how to ask your bridesmaids, I was very happy with the route I ended up taking. Check it out if you want some extra inspo:

And, no, 7 bridesmaids isn’t crazy – it’s most important to surround yourself by the people you love most!

    Wow!!
I just read your book in one go in a lazy day off all the way in Adelaide, Australia. I know I’m a bit out of touch, but is it the same Daniel as the book?
