What I Love This Week

Happy Monday, friends! I hope your weekend included the right mix of fun, relaxation, and productivity. We spent most of Saturday outside, swimming in the finest inflatable pool (still the best $20 I’ve spent), and then I got the urge to power wash…everything. So I hosed down our deck, the screen porch, all of the patio furniture, and if the hose would have reached around front, I probably would’ve washed the car, too—it needs it. On Sunday my friend Kate came over and we played with James outside, went for a walk around the neighborhood, and made a fruit salad that the tiny guy was pretty ‘meh’ about. Oh! And last night I marinated chicken breast in homemade pesto (added the juice of one lemon) before grilling and the results were fantastic—maybe my favorite marinade yet?

Apple says, “What happens on your iPhone stays on your iPhone.” But this privacy experiment, by the Washington Post, showed 5,400 hidden app trackers guzzling our data — in a single week.

Here’s the next big fashion DO: Stop washing your clothes all the time

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)
I loved the first season of THT but didn’t watch the second when it premiered last year because I was pregnant and just couldn’t take how grim the show is. Now I’m back to tolerating bleak realities really well and the show is hitting the spot.
