How are you holding up? So far, so good around here. Our family is healthy, I’m so thankful to say, and we’re mostly sane. My house, on the other hand, is a disaster. It’s never been messier or more cluttered and yet I feel like I’m constantly cleaning it? Oh well. It’s hard to complain when we’re so fortunate to be able to be home, safe and sound. I think of all the millions of people who are out there working to care for us and keep the country running, and it’s such a welcome dose of perspective on what it really means to be struggling right now.

Other things…My prenatal appointments are going to be done over the phone for now, which is great. We’re staying positive, trying to keep James content with different activities, and getting outside at least twice a day. This week we made homemade play dough, which was a hit (used this easy recipe) and today I made a little set of sponge paints that we can use tomorrow. And there’s always Sesame Street. Thank heavens for Sesame Street and Disney+ (James loves Puppy Dog Pals). Daniel and I are always on the lookout for new shows, books, podcasts, you name it. What are you doing at home? I’d love to hear any show suggestions and any activities you do with an 18-month-old indoors or out!

DEVS
Daniel and I have been enjoying the TV show Devs on Hulu. It’s a mystery about a cutting edge tech company in Silicon Valley working on a secret program. The mystery unwraps slowly (and there’s only been 4 episodes released so far) but I think it’s a really interesting premise and we’re having fun watching week to week.
Bob’s Burgers
I somehow missed the boat on Bob’s Burgers, which is in its tenth season. But I recently watched an episode with Daniel and now I am completely hooked. It is such a funny, feel good, positive, loving show that I find so delightful. And it’s been such a great antidote to the bad news going around. The whole series is on Hulu and new episodes are on Fox.

When my kids were little, all the PBS shows, Curious George, Sesame Street, Wild Kratts, etc were great! Curious George was always a favorite.
Some books I just put on my list:
-Oona: Out of Order, By Margarita Montimore
-In Five Yeaes, By Rebecca Searle
Book club!? :-)
Sorry, In Five Years* by Rebecca Searle
Yes! Curious George.
Devs looks amazing, can’t wait to watch! And I love Bob’s burgers too! A book that I loved this week was The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. Now I’m re-reading Year Of No Sugar by Eve Schaub. On my way to lose the ‘Quarantine 15’ that I gained this month…. Oh well.
I’ve been reading The Death of Mrs. Westaway. And I’ve been catching up on Homeland on Showtime. They have been offering a 30 day free trial, so I’m getting that binge watching in.

naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
